Character sheets are amazing. They're super fun to fill and to play with, you can do a lot with them, the only problem is that some writers use them as their only resource or process to create their characters, which is totally fine, but some of these sheets only include the basics, name, age, looks and maybe some background and basic traits.
Your character is a person (or should act like it), a person that readers must find interesting since they are the core of most stories, you could use them only as tools for the events unfolding, but there's a possibility that people will get bored and stop reading. There are more times than I can count that I've stopped reading or watching content not only for boredom but also because the characters were badly written. Some characters acted like caricatures, underdeveloped cliches that I've seen multiple times or just didn't have a personality besides two basic traits.
This character sheet won't fix your problems, but it definitely helps you find the information that you need to have before you start writing and discover that you really don't know your characters.
You can download the DOCX or PDF document here to write everything there or to print it and do it manually.
You can start filling this sheet with just the basics and use the questions and exercises to help to develop your characters, or you can wait and write everything down when you feel like you have them figured out.
In this sheet, you will find content like basic information, personality, looks, relationships; writing exercises to help you find their character voice, pinboards for inspiration, and more than fifty questions for you to fill and play with.
